Below you will find information regarding our behavior expectations at Heartland. We want all students to be safe, respectful and responsible citizens. We review these expectations with our students several times a year in an effort to have a positive learning environment. We believe that all children make mistakes, and we know that mistakes provide wonderful learning opportunities for students. Sometimes mistakes are handled by classroom teachers and staff; other times situations are referred to the administrators in the building. Our goal is to teach students alternative ways when solving problems and guide them when the stakes are low.
