NIMS puts forth a core set of comprehensive procedures that allows schools to manage emergencies and coordinate with first responders by implementing the NIMS activities in our schools. Administrators, students, staff will ultimately receive more efficient and effective response support services by training and implementing NIMS and the Incident Command Structure into our emergency response plans. NIMS was adopted by the Geneva School District in February 2011.
