Welcome to to the Wonderful World of Physics!!!

A little bit about myself.

I started teaching in 2005, after receiving a B.S. in Physics with a specialization in teaching from Illinois State University.  I also received a Masters Degree in Chemistry Education from Illinois State University in 2011.

Before coming to Geneva, I have taught Physics, AP Physics, Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and Physical Science, I also coached tennis and golf.  I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach Physics here in Geneva and am looking forward to the coming years with our new AP Physics Programs starting in the next year. I am also currently the head boys tennis coach and assistant girls tennis coach at the high school.

Outside of school I enjoy playing golf, tennis, hockey, and relaxing at home with my family.

Helpful Websites:  Listed below are a list of useful websites to help you in your journey through Physics.

The Physics Classoom-- Phenomenal site for extra clarification on topics covered in class especially if absent a day.

MOPs--  Great resource run by the Physics Classroom that is full of practice quizzes that can help you study for quizzes and tests.  Unfortunately some operating systems may not be able to use this link.

Phet Simulations-- Great website that has a variety of simulations that will sometimes be used in class.  Also is an ideal spot to help students study certain topics outside the class in a lab setting to confirm or cement prior concepts studied.  JAVA is required for most simulations.

ISU Physics Lab Handbook--  If you are struggling with an sort of error analysis or have questions on graphing topics in Physics this site has several PDFs that can help you.
