Three School Board Seats Available for Election on April 7, 2015

Nominating petition forms for the April 7, 2015, school board election in Geneva Community Unit School District 304 are now available online. Persons interested in running for the Geneva School District Board of Education may also obtain forms at the School District’s Coultrap Educational Services Center, 227 N. Fourth Street, on any business day between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Three seats on the seven-member Geneva School District Board of Education will be filled through this electoral process. Candidates elected will serve four-year terms expiring in April 2019.

To be eligible to serve, a school board member must be, on the date of election, a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old, a registered voter, and a resident of the State of Illinois and of the school district for at least one year immediately preceding the election. Elections are nonpartisan and board candidates do not indicate a political party affiliation.
