6th graders:

The last round of auditions for the “The Snow White Variety Show” are today from 3:30 – 4:30 pm in the cafeteria. If you haven’t signed up yet, no worries! Any 6th graders that want to audition still can! See Ms. Poppen in 6Blue or Mrs. Surgeon in 8Blue with any questions.

 

Intramurals will be starting soon and all students are invited to participate! The first two programs will be FLAG FOOTBALL beginning on Monday, Sept. 11th after school and SOFTBALL beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 12th after school. Permission slips and more information are available in the main office.

 

The first Student Council meeting will be next Thursday at 8 a.m. in room 112.   Elections and activities for this year will be discussed.

 

Student Pictures are today during PE classes. All students will have their picture taken, but do not worry if you don’t have an order form! Pictures can EASILY be ordered online at SHOP.HRIMAGING.COM

  

From the Sports Desk: 

The 8th grade girls hosted the Kaneland Knights last night. The A team played an awesome game led by Courtney Umentum who served a 9 point run. The girls played well as a team but were unable to pull out a win.

The B team improved their game play but were unable to pull out a win. 

  

Come out this afternoon to cheer on our 8th grade boys’ football team as they face Thompson Middle School at 5:00. And good luck to the 7th grade boys as they travel to Haines for their game.  Go Vikings!!
