Student Council: We are going to have a meeting tomorrow at
8:00am. There is a lot of planning to do including the 8th grade dance
theme, decorations and planning for the dance, and 8th grade t-shirts.
Good news 7th and 8th
graders, we have a few spots still open for our escape room activity on March
16th. If you are still interested in signing up for this event
you can come to the office with your $5 this week. Find some friend to
join you or come alone and join a group. This will be a really fun
activity that will happen right before our 7th and 8th
grade dance.
Don’t forget to join us for a Gold-Medal good time at our Olympic YA book club tomorrow night. The fun starts at 6:30pm. And, wear your USA colors OR favorite vacation t-shirt tomorrow to celebrate Road Trip Tuesday for Read Across America Week.
Clean off your bookshelves and pick-up some new books to enjoy at
our GMS South Book Swap on Friday, March 9th. Bring in your books by
Thursday 3/8. See Mrs. Mourek or Mrs. Hollis for more information.
This Friday
March 9, after school, will be the faculty/student basketball game. 8th grade students who are interested in
playing must have a current physical on file and should see Mrs. Benhart in 8W
for a permission slip.

Art Club starts back up again today after school.
Social Studies Club will be meeting in Mr. Fader’s room 110 until 4:30 tomorrow after school.
Tomorrow, Chess Club will be meeting at North after school. All
students are welcome, as we prepare for our match against St. Charles on March
20th. Bring a friend or challenge an existing member. We also have a few
extra Chess Club shirts. Check with Mrs. Fedor for sizes if you would
still like to purchase one.
