Geneva School District 304 News Article

Kindergarten Round Up Information

There will be district-wide Kindergarten admissions on TUESDAY, MARCH 1 from 4—7 PM at each of Geneva’s elementary schools. Appointments are not necessary for this event. Simply bring in your child’s complete admissions paperwork.

Geneva Community Unit School District 304 is looking for all incoming kindergarten students for the Full-Day Kindergarten Program for the 2016-2017 School Year. Please help us get the word out to all parents who may have a child ready for kindergarten. Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1, 2016.

For your convenience admissions documents may be downloaded from the Geneva 304
Website, completed at home, and turned in at the time of admissions. If you already have them, the medical, dental, and vision forms can be turned in at admissions. They are required to be submitted before the first day of student attendance.

In addition to the completed admissions paperwork, you will need to bring:

your child’s original birth certificate or a certified copy, which will be copied and returned to you that evening;

two documents confirming residency in Geneva, must be property tax bill, recent utility bill showing address, document from closing or rental lease, free of contingencies; and

parent or guardian’s photo I.D. (ex. driver’s license, passport, foreign government I.D., etc.). This is used for identification purposes only.

We encourage all parents to attend this admissions event as it helps us better plan for space and staffing needs. If you are unable to attend the district-wide Kindergarten Admissions Event, please contact the Central Administration Offices at 630-463-3000 after March 1, but as soon as possible, to schedule an appointment to enroll your child.

To determine which elementary school your child will attend, please see the district boundary maps.
