bringing in Pop Top Tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Place your Pop
Top Tabs in the boxes in the cafeteria or bring them to Ms. Beyer in 6Blue. Our

From the Sports
Desk:
The 7th grade A
team took on Thompson last night. Led by the beautiful passing of Liam O’Donaghue, Colin Sprague’s 10 points and Billy Paris’ 14 points the Vikings lowered the boom on the Thunder, winning 54-36.
The 7th grade B
team came up short in their game against Thompson last night. Drew Peters led the Vikings with 7
points. Special shout outs go to JT
McCormick, who played incredibly tough against an opposing player who was at
least 8 inches taller than he was and Ben Burghard, who handled the rock
beautifully and was the best defender on the court.
The 8th grade A
basketball team battled the entire game last night against Thompson. Down 5 with 5 seconds left, Jimmy Rasmussen
hit a deep three pointer. The Vikings then stole the inbound play and got up a
shot at the buzzer that just didn't go in.
After getting
hit with adversity to open the game, the 8th grade B team stormed out of the
gates in the second half. The team was led by JT Frieders’ energetic play and some tough post defense by Matt Fregly and Cal Hruby. The boys overcame an 11-point
deficit to defeat Thompson in overtime.
