As you may be aware, the Board of Education and the Geneva Education Association met Tuesday night to continue negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement. The Board and the GEA are jointly announcing that Tuesday night's session was successful in making progress toward a new contract. The Board and the GEA have scheduled two additional negotiations sessions to take place within the next week.  
 
The negotiations teams are committed to working together toward a new collective bargaining agreement that reflects the interests and values of both the Board and the GEA.
