GTV Students Win Best Morning Announcement Show in Region for 3rd Year

Over spring break, 16 Geneva High School GTV students traveled to Seattle for the annual Student Television Network Convention, bringing home several honors, including Best Morning Announcement Show (Midwest) for the third consecutive year.
 
This convention brings together more than 3,000 students from around the country to learn and compete in various competitions. This year, Geneva High School won the most awards in school history with 6 total awards.  
 
They include:  
1st Place: Live Interview- Tessa Balc and Braden Fels
2nd Place: 8 hour Short Film-  Mary Kassel, Izzy Schamberger, Julia Rein, Emma Ptak, Gracie Ferguson, Alex Lang, Braden Fels. (This is the first time in school history that GTV has won this award.)
3rd Place: Tell the Story Editing- Jaimee Beyer
4th Place: Sports Commentary -Eliza Peters and Kyle Schermerhorn
5th Place: Convention Promo- Lily Karlson and Julia Rein
GTV News: Best Morning Announcement Show (Midwest) - This is the third year in a row GTV has won this award.
