Happy NEON Day!
Student Council is
meeting today in the sewing room after school until 4:25 to make toys and beds
for the animals at Anderson Animal Shelter. All are welcome to come help!
Don’t forget to join us for a doggone good time at our YA book club tonight. The fun starts at 6:30pm at GMS North. Remember to bring a donation for Anderson
Animal Shelter for your chance at a raffle prize.
The
collection drive for Anderson Animal Shelter continues this week! Every student that donates an item from the
list can be entered into a drawing to be my co-announcer for a morning! If that doesn’t sound like fun to you, that’s okay, but won’t you still bring in something to donate to help the homeless pets?
Leo’s Club is meeting today after school in Ms. Beyer’s room 223.
Science Club has a meeting right here at South on Thursday in Mr. Duber’s classroom 154 for a Pully Weight Lift Challenge. Be
sure to bring your computers to this meeting!
Chess
Club is also meeting on Thursday after school but at North.
This
Thursday and Friday come out to see the spectacular 7th and 8th
grade musical Annie! The show starts
at 7:00 and tickets are FREE for all students!
Attention 7th and 8th graders, the 7th and 8th grade dance is coming up next week March 15th from 6:30-8. Why not stay after school and go bowling with your friends! If you’re interested in coming bowling before the dance, pick up a permission slip from the main office. It’s only $7 per student! Permission slips are due on Friday!
Ready for some Wacky Wednesday fun? Wear something “wacky” (think mismatched, colorful and crazy!) Also, come to the library tomorrow during lunch with your friends to build some pet treat launchers.
This Friday is a
Clean-Sweep Friday, so plan to get here a little early.
From the Sports Desk:
