Did
you know that an estimated 14 billion lbs. of trash – mostly plastic – is dumped
into the world’s oceans every year. To
help reduce this shocking number, the GMSS green team has set up boxes in the
cafeteria next to the trash cans to put empty chip bags; that’s right – empty chip
bags! Also, don’t forget to put your dried-out markers in the baskets in your
team centers – any type or brand of marker! With a little help from every kid
in this school we can help save the planet step by step.
