Last week Thursday, the boys’ cross-country team earned a victory against St. Charles Thompson placing 10 runners in the top 13 of the race. Lorcan Duffy had his best run of the season placing 6th out of 93 runners and a pack of Jackson Raby, Brady McMillen, Noah Martin, Ben Lutzow and Robbie Youngquist all contributed to the win.  Top 6th grader was Max Sliwa who finished 17th.

On Tuesday, the boys’ cross-country team faced a tough Batavia team.  Geneva lost by 14 placement points, but Wyatt Gross won the race out of 96 runners.  The team had a new top 6th grade finisher with Nick Easter finishing 27th

The 7th grade girls’ A and B teams came out strong in their match against Wredling last night, but sadly both Viking teams lost to the strong competition. “A” put up a great fight in their first game, with passing led by Sophia Broderick. In the “B” game, Lillian Hallahan led her team with strong serves that Wredling struggled with. Stay after school today to support both teams in their home opener again Harter Middle School!
