Have you noticed the large gift wrapped box in the window of the office? Well, that is a collection box for the Toys for Kids Program. Our goal for the next two weeks is to fill this box to the top with new toys and books for kids in need who might not get any presents this holiday season. As a bonus, any student that brings in a newly purchased toy for the box will have their library fines forgiven! No library fine? Why not make a toy donation just so you can help a family in need have a nice holiday. You don’t have to wrap it; just bring your gift to the office. We will be collecting until Friday December 10th. Thanks in
advance!
Attention
all 8th grade music students! Permission slips and payment for this
year's fieldtrip to Drury Lane Theater are due no later than next Monday,
December 4. Please indicate your menu choice on the permission slip,
and bring your form and payment in a sealed envelope. Late forms
will not be accepted, so please plan ahead!!!
From the Sports Desk:
7th and 8th grade
girls basketball tryouts will be held on Monday, December 18th and Tuesday,
December 19th. Tryouts will run until 5:20 both days. All girls
that are interested in coming out need to have a current sports physical on

The 8th grade A team lost a tough one to Wredling last
night. Landon O'Donahue and Logan Mourek both played great offensive
games and Brady Ahern chipped in with some solid hustle plays.
The 8th grade B team had a tough shooting night against
Wredling. The Vikings played hard all game. There were some great passes
by Tyler Tuisl and Aris Bush.
The 7th grade A and B teams both
defeated St. Charles Wredling last night. The A team used 8 three
pointers and a strong defensive showing in their win, while the B team had a
close game until they opened a lead in the 4th quarter and won by 5
points. Both teams hit the road next week against St. Charles Thompson on
Tuesday and Geneva North on Thursday.
