Viking Girls Basketball The 8th grade girls made the trip over to Rotolo to take on the Bulldogs last night . The Vikings pulled away midway through the 2nd quarter attacking Batavia with the thunder and lightning combination of Kelly McCloughan and Kate Palmer. McCloughan scored 17 points and had 8 rebounds while Palmer scored 16 points with 7 steals. Bella Walton got into the action with 8 points and 3 steals. Final score Vikings 41 Bulldogs 32.

Last night the 7th grade girls basketball team took on the Dawgs' of Batavia. Unfortunately for the A team the basket looked like the size of a tea cup. A wise man once said to Mr. Westerhoff, "there is a first time for everything." Angelina Romano drained her first three pointer of the season to get the Vikings back in reach. The girls could not overcome the deficit and lost the hard fought game.

Details about the fan appreciation day, during the last home game on Tuesday, coming soon.

The 7th grade girls B team won in a close game against Rotolo Gold. Sunni Foard and Mia Estrada both helped the team defensively and offensively. Izzy Haines played great all game long and Kenner Chennault made the winning basket for the team, stopping the game from going into overtime. Final score 18-16. Nice job girls!
