Intramurals are starting next week! FLAG FOOTBALL begins Monday, Sept. 11th after school and SOFTBALL begins Tuesday, Sept. 12th after school. Permission slips are due today!
Geneva Middle School is sponsoring a community service project called Feed My Starving Children on Saturday, September, 16th. We will travel to Aurora to pack life-saving meals which will be distributed to starving children around the world. Our scheduled packing time is from 11:30 – 1:30 pm. If you are interested in participating, please pick up a permission slip in the main office. Bus transportation will be provided.
Art Club is starting on Monday! If you haven’t already turned in your permission slip, it is due today!
Music students – today is a Band/Orchestra day.
Today is the first Jivin Geneva for 6th grade. It runs from after school until 5:00 pm. Parents should be here between 5:00 and 5:10 to pick up students. There is also an activity bus that leaves shortly after Jivin' Geneva is over that can take students home. As a rule, kids are not allowed to leave until 4:50 at the earliest. If you need to pick up your child before 4:50 please come to the cafeteria and we will release them to you after checking in with an administrator. Once 4:50 comes, kids can simply walk out to the car and go.
Okay South, get ready to show your school spirit! Next week is Homecoming Spirit Week! The week will start with Pajama Day on Monday, then Tuesday will be Disney Day, Wednesday is Sports Jersey Day, Thursday is Twin Day, and finally Friday will be Viking Day!
So, don’t forget to wear your PJs on Monday!
