From the Sports Desk:

The 7th grade A team battled tough, but came up short.  Peyton Smith led the charge defensively with some phenomenal lock down defense.  Lauren Slagle did a great job getting to the basket and Abby McMillen hit a big bucket.

The 7th Grade Girls B basketball team lost to Yorkville last night but played with heart the whole game. Claire and Lucy both had some great shots underneath getting to the line. And, Morgan did a great job leading the team from the point. The Vikings will finish the regular season next week with 3 games in a row.

Last night the 8th grade girls Vikings went on the road to play Yorkville. Even though they lost, it was one of the more complete games they've played all year. Marissa Warzecha hit a big basket in the 1st half and followed that up with some aggressive defense, a steal and a fast break. The Vikings look to keep their momentum going into the March tournament.
