Due to Cyclone Idai, over a million children have been affected and thousands have been forced into temporary camps in Mozambique, Africa. The team competition fundraiser starts today! Each school team is in a race to build the most blocks of a home, by donating spare change or generous dollars in the Library, this week only. The team that gives the most will celebrate with a "block party" — free time with friends, music & games outside, and a summer treat to enjoy! A home will shelter an entire family and make a dramatic difference in their daily lives.
Permission
slips for the Epic Air Intramural on Thursday are due tomorrow. So, be sure to
pick up your permission slip in the office today and return it tomorrow with
the fee. NO late entries will be
accepted.
Don’t forget that all library books and fines are due May 28th. If you don’t pay your fines, you won’t get your yearbook, so get that taken care of!

graders! This Friday is the Student vs.
Faculty basketball game and any 8th grader can play! You can sign-up and grab a permission slip in
the main office.
Yearbook Staff Members, the final Yearbook meeting of the year is today in Mr. Sempsrott’s room. We will be organizing
and labeling yearbooks for delivery and eating pizza! This meeting will run until 5:30.
Writing Club’s final meeting this year is going to be tomorrow right here at South.
