Geneva CUSD 304 is asking parents and guardians to register today for the following community event at Geneva High School: Legal Marijuana: Now What? A Guide to the Law, Vaping, & Teen Health.*
The presentation will be led by certified drug & alcohol counselor Matthew Quinn, LCPC, CADC, from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Geneva High School Auditorium.
The cultural shift has reached a new peak in Illinois with the passing of recreational marijuana legislation and the increase of vaping among students, according to Quinn. Attendees of this presentation will learn the facts and receive practical tools to approach this topic with their kids.
The event is free (adults only please). Seats will be limited, so interested parties are asked to RSVP by Nov. 15 at this link.
