Hello!

 

I am the ELL teacher at Geneva School District 304 serving the middle school (6th - 8th ) and high school ( 9th - 12th ) English Language Learner students in Geneva, Illinois.

I am very fortunate to be one of 6 wonderful teachers in the ELL/Bilingual Education  Department  in District 304. We are a Professional Learning Team who meet regularly to collaborate, plan and share  best teaching practices. 

 

I have extensive experience teaching students  from all around the world who have either recently moved to the United States  from another country and are just beginning to learn English as a Second Language or with students who have already lived in the United States for some time, but are improving their English Language Skills in Reading and Writing. I have taught elementary, middle school, high school and even adult students.

 

I am a  fluent native speaker of Spanish and English and have lived in both Mexico and the United States throughout my childhood and adult life. 

 

During the regular school day, I split my time between 2 buildings in  District 304.

I am  at Geneva High School in the morning :

1st through 5th Period ( 7:40 to 11:30 am )

In the afternoon I "travel" to

Geneva Middle School North: 5th - 8th  Period ( 12:15 to 3:30 pm.).
