Professional Development is a key component to the successful achievement of our students. Opportunities for staff members to participate in activities to extend their knowledge of best practice in the area of curriculum and instruction are provided by District 304 staff as well as individuals or organizations outside the District such as the Regional Office of Education, the Illinois Principals Association, and others.
Activities are provided during Summer Institute, Kane County Institute Days, School Improvement Days, After-school Workshops, Grade Level Meeting Sessions, as well as individual dates depending on availability
Staff members also benefit from access to professional periodicals, books, and recordings through the Geneva School District Curriculum Library.
