Parents Please Take the Illinois 5Essentials Survey

Geneva CUSD 304 will join the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) in a statewide survey of school climate and learning conditions. The survey provides a unique opportunity for students, teachers and parents to have a voice in improving their schools. From now through March 28, students and teachers will be asked to take a 25-minute research-based survey to help identify strengths and weaknesses in their school’s learning environment. The parent survey supplement will also be administered during the same survey window. These surveys will serve as an opportunity for schools to reflect on progress since the last statewide implementation.

GAME & SENDOFF INFO: Geneva Vikings in the State Championship!

The Geneva Vikings Varsity Football Team takes on the East St. Louis Flyers on Saturday, November 30 at 1 PM at Illinois State University in the 6A State Championship. If you plan to go to the game, details are below. Can’t make it to the game? No worries! Join us at GHS at 8:30 AM to send our team off in style as they board the bus for Normal. Everyone in the community is welcome! Wear your Geneva blues, and let’s cheer them on together. Park in the main parking lot and gather at the northeast corner of the building.

Computer Update for Charging Issue

There is an important and helpful update available for the student computers that are experiencing charging issues. Please leave the computer plugged in and turned on overnight during Thanksgiving break to allow the update to be installed. 
  1. Turn on the computer.
  2. Plug the charging cord into the computer and a working wall outlet. 
  3. Login to the computer. 
  4. Verify that the charge percentage goes up at least one percentage.  
  5. Leave it turned on and plugged in overnight. 
  6. The update will install and force a restart of the computer. 
  7. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.
