On Thursday, March 13, Sodexo held a district-wide cooking competition for First through Fifth grades. The goal of the event was to help educate kids in healthy eating habits and showing that eating healthy can be fun. The student participants were judged on Originality, Healthy Attributes, Ease of Preparation, Kid Appeal, Plate Presentation, and Taste.

Geneva CUSD 304 will join the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) in a statewide survey of school climate and learning conditions. The survey provides a unique opportunity for students, teachers and parents to have a voice in improving their schools. From now through March 28, students and teachers will be asked to take a 25-minute research-based survey to help identify strengths and weaknesses in their school’s learning environment. The parent survey supplement will also be administered during the same survey window. These surveys will serve as an opportunity for schools to reflect on progress since the last statewide implementation.

Geneva CUSD 304 will have four seats on the Board of Education that will be filled at the Consolidated General Election on April 1, 2025. As of August 20, candidates may begin circulating nominating petitions.

The Geneva Early Learning Program invites area families to an Open House from 6:30-7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12 to learn about the rewarding and enriching preschool offerings from Geneva CUSD 304.Geneva Early Learning Program is an inclusive preschool community for residents of Geneva 304 offering a full continuum of services for children including those with identified disabilities. Its curriculum is a research-based, play-based curriculum. The program is currently accepting enrollment for tuition-based preschool students 3 or older.

Soon it will be time to let the school district know if your student(s) will be returning to school in the fall for the 2024-25 school year. This year, we are asking all parents/guardians to provide a document showing that you live in Geneva. The student verification process will be available online from April 26-May 17.
