Each year, students across Geneva CUSD 304 participate in a national vocabulary competition involving nearly 150,000 participants. The WordMasters Challenge™ is an exercise in critical thinking that holds three meets each year.The following are students from the third and final 2018 meet who have been recognized by the WordMasters Challenge™ program.

This school year, horticulture students at Geneva High School have been living the District’s vision in more ways than one. Not only have they cultivated their complex, creative-thinking skills during their time growing crops in the school’s greenhouse, but they also are becoming productive citizens and giving back to the community.

Two students from Geneva High School headed to Springfield in April after qualifying for the SkillsUSA state competition. Kyle Michelsen and Sean Corkery were among only 15 woodworkers to earn this achievement.

Two Geneva High School GTV students have received Student Production (Emmy) Awards from the National Academt of Television Arts & Sciences. The surprise annoucmenent was made at the MMEA VidFest last weekend, and will be officially presented during the Silver Circle dinner on May 4.
