Attention all 6th graders. There is going to be a 6th grade Jivin’ Geneva this Friday after school! You don’t want to miss it because there will be karaoke!

 

An email was sent to all students who have not ordered a yearbook for this year.  If you would still like to order a yearbook, bring cash or check for $28 to the office by Friday February 7th

 

Math club meets tomorrow after school at North in room 122. Join us for a fun math game and a snack. Please have your ride pick you up at 4:20 or take the activity bus. 

 

Auditions for the 7th & 8th grade musical, Annie, will take place tomorrow after school. There is still time to audition even if you missed the first audition day! Please sign up in the main office and pick up an audition packet. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Tyranski in 7B.

 

It's time for the next meeting of the Creative Writing Club! We'll announce the winners and distribute the prizes for the last writing contest and talk about a local writing contest opportunity that is coming up fast. Please plan to meet before school next Tuesday in Ms. Riley's room. We'll meet at South at 7:40 am. Hope to see you there!

 

Gaming Club will be hosting a special meeting next week on Tuesday from 3:30-4:20. Gamers - remember if you are interested in signing up for the Super Smash Bros. Practice Tournament, please follow the link emailed to you.

 

Calling all dancers! Tryouts for the Dance Team will take place on January 13th and 14th in the fitness room at Geneva Middle School North. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders can try out if they register through 8 to 18 and have an updated physical.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Mattson.

 

Attention all 7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball players. Tryouts will be held January 13th-15th after school from 3:30-5:20. All interested participants must be registered on 8 to 18 and have a current sports physical on file. 

 

There’s a new intramural coming up in a couple of weeks. It’s the GMS Bowling League! Bowl and eat snacks with your friends from North and South. You can pick up a permission slip in the main office.

 

Are you interested in Rubik's Cube and competing against others to see who can get them done the fastest? If so, on Friday January 24th there will be a competition in the Geneva North cafeteria immediately after school from 3:30-5:20 pm. Please see the flyers around school and use that to sign up for the competition. Any questions please direct to Mr. McGinnis.
