Today is our last day of the 2019-20 school year, and while much uncertainty lies ahead of us, I would like to take a moment to turn attention toward the things we are fortunate to celebrate: Our students. Our staff. Our families.

End of Year videoEvery day, we have seen examples of our school community giving grace, working hard, and creating connections. Not only have individuals and teams worked hard to continue the school year through remote learning, but many also took part in acts of kindness to spread joy and hope to help all of us better cope with this difficult situation – whether it be in the form of heartfelt signs in front of our schools, musical performances from front porches, or hand-drawn letters for nursing home residents. Each gesture has been a ray of sunshine reflecting self-direction, citizenry, and collaboration – our District Vision.  To help us celebrate the end of the year on a joyful note, we invited families and students to share their smiles with us from home, many of which we compiled into a video at this link. We thank everyone who participated in this special project, and hope you enjoy it.

Please know that our District will continue to work hard to prepare and develop potential plans for the upcoming school year, based on forthcoming guidance. No matter what the 2020-21 school year brings, our District of caring and hardworking staff will remain committed to providing our students with the very best education.

As we wrap up the school year and head into the summer months, some of you have reached out inquiring about summer activities. Our teachers shared, and our Instructional Coaches curated, a site for your reference. Resources are most appropriate for our learners in the elementary grades, but there are a few sites for the secondary level. Any use of these resources is optional. This page can be found here.

We will continue to communicate new developments with you, and update our Frequently Asked Questions, which are available on our website at this link.?

Thank you for your continued patience, flexibility and grace. Have a safe and wonderful summer.
