Exciting news! Two new intramurals are coming up! There will be a Soccer intramural and a Flag Football intramural beginning next week on Tuesday September 10th on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both of these intramurals are combined with North, so it’s a great opportunity to meet some new friends. The cost for each one of these is $25 and permission slips are available in the main office.
From the Sports Desk:
It was Thursday night lights at Peck Farm last night and the Vikings "beared" down against North. Julia Jordan, Sage Poterek, and Alina Nica steamrolled to the finish line. On the boy's side, Murphy Hall, Brendan King, and Finley Clemons trucked their way to impressive finishes. The girls lost a close one and the boys kept their undefeated season alive.
The 8th grade girls’ volleyball team played at Yorkville yesterday. In the A game, Lexi Gundrum had a big block and great net play. Macy Sabo played awesome defense! In the B game, Annabelle Beveridge played great defense, and Lydia Poustinchian had 7 aces to bring the Vikings back in the 2nd game. Both teams lost in non-conference play but are sure to have a great season! Next up, the Vikings travel to Jefferson on Tuesday, September 10.
The 7th grade A and B volleyball team took on the Yorkville Foxes last night at home. Our crowd was roaring but neither team was able to come out on top. Lyla Black started the Vikings off hot with a killer serve streak in the first set. Despite their best attempts, it was not enough to take down Yorkville.
