The answer to last week’s Wheel of Fortune puzzle in the library was THANK YOUR TEACHER.  Congrats to the correct guessers whose names were picked: Alice Wall, Paige Dieken, Molly Tracey, Clark Ferguson, Mrs. Arnold, Mrs. Sweeney, and Mrs. Rolf.

ALL LIBRARY BOOKS or their REPLACEMENT COSTS are due this Friday, May 17th. If you don’t take care of your library fees or return books your yearbook will be held. Cash or check should be brought to the library and payable to Geneva Middle School South. See Mrs. Fedor with any questions.

Attention 8th grade students, you will turn in your computer and charger next week. All decorative stickers must be off before the end of this week. Only the district name and barcode stickers should be left on. If you need assistance with this, please see the tech office. Your yearbook will be held if you do not turn in a device, or if your device still has decorative stickers on it.

May is Mental Health Awareness month.  Did you know that it is a myth that young people cannot suffer from mental illness. 50% of all mental health disorders occur before age 14.  Your mental health is just as important as your physical health and it is important to seek help if you are struggling emotionally.

From the Sports Desk:

Last Friday, the Geneva South track team closed out its 2024 conference season in dramatic fashion.  A powerful performance by the girls’ 4x400 relay team secured a first-place finish, and the boys’ team dominated the meet from start to finish.  In the end, the team raised dual conference championship trophies for the first time, capping an undefeated season. Congratulations to the track team!
