Yesterday, the 8th grade Vikings volleyball team played against North at the high school. Liv Campana had some big plays to give the A team the win! Bella Frye played great defense for the Vikings in the B game. Reminder: no practice today!

The 7th grade girls’ volleyball team took on North in the annual cross campus classic. 7A defeated their rivals in two with an amazing comeback and a final serving streak by Brooke VanDeusing in the second game.

Last night, the varsity Viking football team took on the Bulldogs of Rotollo in the first round of the Fox Valley Conference playoffs. The Vikings dominated the game from the first play when quarterback Cody Rader connected with Maddox Carson for a 70-yard touchdown. Rader would later connect with Chris Fouth and Michael Lutzow for long touchdown scores. Lutzow would add a 50-yard score on the ground and cornerback Elliot Beran would run one of his two interceptions back for a score as the Vikings went on to a 36-6 victory securing a spot in next week's conference championship game to be played at Geneva High School's historic Burgess Field.

On the JV football team, Brady Horan put the team on its back in a knock-out drag-down win against the Bulldogs of Batavia. Horan had 125 all-purpose yards with one touchdown. Cooper Czupeck punched it in for big TD as well. With time running out your Vikings Defense stood their ground. Down 4 points in the fourth quarter, a Cooper Trayvon sack and Laighton Callahan blocked punt set up the game winning drive ending with a Casey Brylka touchdown. Your Vikings were triumphant 18-16.
