National School Bus Safety Week

National Bus Safety Week

Oct. 19, 2020

Geneva CUSD 304 is observing National School Bus Safety Week during Oct. 19-23. More than 4,200 children ride Geneva 304 buses every day in a typical school year, and National School Bus Safety Week serves as a reminder for the community to keep school bus safety in the forefront.

This year’s theme is "Red Lights Mean STOP!" The theme of National School Bus Safety Week is derived from the Poster Contest the year before.

“National School Bus Safety Week helps to bring awareness to daily practices that our community is encouraged to keep in mind year-round, not just during that week,” says Geneva 304 Transportation Director Mary Dunmead, “Geneva 304 would like to thank our bus drivers and our community members for their continuous efforts to keep our students safe!”
