Welcome to a New School Year!

Aug. 13, 2021

Each fall, we are eager to welcome students and staff back for a new year in Geneva 304. There is a spark of excitement when our halls and classrooms come alive again. We are filled with anticipation for our students and all they are capable of learning as they grow throughout the year.

This fall, our excitement is even more heightened because we are able to educate all students in our buildings with full in-person learning. As we have previously shared, our goal is to safely maintain this plan, and we know that can only be attained if we all follow health & safety procedures while being flexible with any future changes. We thank you for your partnership and cooperation in this process.

Our theme for this new school year is #GrowingTogether304, which represents both our return to full in-person learning and highlights our commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.  As we move through this school year, please look for stories demonstrating this theme.

We have launched a new 2021-22 School Year Plan webpage, as a new resource for families to learn of updates and answers to frequently asked questions. On this page, you also will find information about the District’s COVID Dashboard, which will be updated on Fridays once school is in session.

In closing, please grow together with us, with a reminder that the only constant is change, and be assured that we remain committed to providing you with information in response to these changes. We will see you soon for a wonderful first day of school next Wednesday, the 18th!

Sincerely,

Dr. Kent Mutchler
Superintendent of Schools
