Spread Some Love: Staff/Teacher Appreciation

Hey Geneva 304 students!
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9, 2025. Would you like to thank someone for Teacher Appreciation Week? It could be anyone who works at Geneva 304 - teachers, coaches, principals, nurses, instructional assistants, bus drivers, custodians, main office staff, social workers, counselors, psychologists, lunchroom workers, speech pathologists, technology staff, building support staff....anyone who works at Geneva 304!
We want to hear your stories! Has a teacher or staff member made a big difference in your life? Now's your chance to give them a shout-out! Write a heartfelt letter or create a fun video to show your appreciation and upload it here. Your letter and/or video will be shared with the staff person. Please complete by Friday, May 2.
Remember students, this should be from you, but parents can lend a helping hand! Let's spread some positivity and make someone's day special!
Here are some prompts to get you started, but it's not required that you use these. Your thoughts can be straight from your heart:
- "Superhero in Disguise": Write about a time they saved the day for you. How did they help you or your classmates?
- "Favorite Lesson": Describe your favorite lesson or activity that this person led. Why did it stand out to you?
- "Thank You for Believing in Me": Share a moment when this person believed in you and encouraged you to do your best. How did it make you feel?
- "Classroom Fun": Write about a fun or memorable event that happened in your class. How did they make it special?
- "Learning Adventure": Talk about a subject or topic that this person made exciting and interesting. What did you learn, and why was it fun?
- "Kindness Counts": Describe a time when this person showed kindness or helped you through a tough day. How did their support make a difference?
- "Future Dreams": Explain how they have inspired you to dream big and think about your future. What goals do you have now because of them?
- "Team Spirit": Share a story about how this person encouraged teamwork and cooperation. How did it help you and your classmates?
- "Thank You for Being You": Simply write a heartfelt thank you for all the things this person does every day. What makes them special to you?
