The Varsity boys’ volleyball team played Traughber Middle School last night. John Hawkinson was a mad dog blocking at the net and Elliot "Mc-Clutch" McCutcheon returned every ball hit near him. Unfortunately, the team lost in three competitive sets.
In the JV game, it didn’t look like we'd win after dropping Set 2, or when trailing in Set 3. But with calm leadership from Emmitt Sartell, the team rallied, chipping away at Traughber’s lead to pull off a thrilling comeback to win. Rory Krempin led South with 7 points. Tick, tick, boom!
