The Geneva Vikings boys' varsity volleyball team faced off against Aurora Washington at home last night. After an incredibly thrilling back and forth battle that featured impressive serves from Charlie Kelly and monster blocks by JT Uhlmann, the Vikings fell just two points short of victory in both sets. They are looking forward to seeing you at their next game at home tomorrow against Jewel.
In the JV game, Captains Xaiden Mack and Parker Wigdzinski showed incredible leadership under pressure. Josh Gundrum led the Vikings, smashing the competition with 9 points. Xaiden Mack, Emmitt Sartell, and Rory Krempin served up 7 points each and Jack Mulcahey delivered 5. The team battled hard but ultimately fell short against Washington in three sets.
