From the Sports Desk:

On Wednesday, the Rotolo Volleyball team came to face off against your 8th grade Vi-Queens volleyball team, and we sent them home with their tails between their legs! The Vikings were led by strong serves from Lilly Jones and great net play including the winning kill by Liv Campana. The B game went to three sets...Avery Maier and Bella Frye played stellar defense, but it was Eve Norkus's 6 serves that brought the Vikings back to win the game!

Last Wednesday, the Viking varsity football team ended their 2024 season in dramatic fashion under the lights at Geneva High School's historic Burgess Field, taking on St. Charles Wredling in the Fox Valley Conference Championship. The Viking offensive line gave quarterback Cody Rader all day in the pocket, and Rader made the most of it, connecting with Michael Lutzow for two touchdowns and Austen Ganz for a third. Running back Cody Brown would add a fourth score. The Viking defense, led by Vincent Skibicki and Eliot Beran held off a determined Redhawks offense on the way to a 28-18 victory, securing the title and their 8-0 undefeated season.

Attention all football players: the team pizza party has been moved to Wednesday immediately after school. Please meet in the North locker room to return gear before the party. Jerseys and pants should be washed prior to return.
