The 8th grade boys' basketball team flexed their muscles over the weekend and brought home the Ship at the Kaneland Tournament. On Friday night the boys were led by Lo VanDeusen with some big cuts and buckets at the hoop.
Saturday displayed a rival matchup against North. John Tweed, Jackson Snider, and Ben Peterson led the team with All-Tournament Team Honors, and Ben Peterson took home Tournament MVP. It was a total team effort and South put the hammer down in the fourth quarter to come up with the Title. Way to go!
