From the Sports Desk:

The girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams raced in the heat yesterday against Rotolo Middle School. They may not have clinched the "W", it was still a tight race. Connor McInerney, Murphy Hall, Eli Quiroga and Landon Callahan had great finishes for the boys and Ashley Stinger, Izzy Bowgren, Julia Jordan and Lauren Kusack ran hard for the girls. The cross-country team has their conference meet this Saturday.

The 7th grade volleyball team fought hard in last night's game against Batavia.

7A had a strong showing but lost in three nail biting games. Hannah Cosky and Teagan Lee worked the outside sending several hits over the net. Emma Peterson guarded the net making Batavia work for every point.

7B also fought hard and came close in both games. Aylin Harper had a some gorgeous serving runs. Jade Davenport made some great plays at the net with Harper Kobbeman sending some great passes across the net.

The 8th grade girls’ volleyball team traveled to Rotolo and unfortunately could not pull off the win. Lyla She-Hulk Folden had some killer serves and saves at the net. The B team fell victim to the Bulldog heat, but Autumn Reed protected at the net while Madeleine Chiappetta defended in the back row.
