Important Health Reminders & Tips For Keeping Students Well
The Geneva School District 304 is seeing an increase in RSV, influenza, COVID-19, and other respiratory illnesses among our school community. These illnesses can easily spread from person to person. To keep yourself and your family from becoming sick, please follow "The Three Cs:"

Clean your hands - Please remind your children to wash their hands often with soap and water. An alcohol-based hand sanitizer is also effective in the absence of soap and water.

Cover your cough - Please remind your children to cover their coughs and sneezes with tissues. Covering up their coughs or sneezes using the elbow, arm, or sleeve, instead of the hand when a tissue is unavailable, is also good practice. Also, please remind your children not to share personal items such as drinks, food, or unwashed utensils.

Contain illness - Please keep your child at home when they are sick to prevent the spread of illness. Keep sick children home for at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever or do not have signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing drugs. Any children determined to be sick while at school will be sent home.

We appreciate your cooperation in this effort and wish you and your family a safe and healthy fall season.
