Back Together 304 News Image
July 10, 2020

As we near the start of the 2020-21 school year, we recognize that families are eager for information so that they can make some important decisions for the fall. This week, we invite you to take a moment to review some new Geneva 304 resources that we will be using in the coming weeks as we release information about fall planning, engagement opportunities, etc. We are committed to keeping these resources updated as much as possible moving forward.

NEW WEBPAGE
This webpage is intended to keep the Geneva CUSD 304 community informed and engaged as we move through the summer and start back together in the fall of 2020. On this page, you will find:
  • The latest communications from the District;
  • The latest guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health;
  • Family resources and tips curated from local and state health officials;
  • Technology tips for families and students;
  • A link to Frequently Asked Questions; and
  • Additional plans and procedures as our plans evolve.

NEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We know there are many unanswered questions about what learning will look like this fall, so this page will feature the answers to the most common inquiries from our community. If you have questions, please feel free to share them by emailing [email protected].

WHAT'S NEXT?
Geneva 304 continues to work hard to develop potential plans that follow the latest guidance and that collaborate with neighboring school districts when possible.

We plan to provide more detailed information with you the week of July 13 regarding potential learning options that families can choose for the upcoming school year. After we provide you with more detailed information for these options, we know it will be important for you to have time to reflect on that new information. After you've had that opportunity, we will then be asking you to take some action on what works best for your family.

Please stay tuned to 304Connects emails and the new Back Together 304 webpage for this information. Thank you for your continued patience, flexibility, grace, and engagement.

Sincerely,
Dr. Kent Mutchler
Superintendent of Schools
