A Message from Geneva 304 Superintendent
Message from Superintendent Thumbnail
April 16, 2020
This message is a reminder that tomorrow, April 17, is the first of our scheduled Self-Directed Learning Days in April.
On Self-Directed Learning Days, our educators will work collaboratively to learn new skills and continue plans for their students in the remote learning environment. We also encourage students to make the most of this time by catching up on work from the week and engaging independently in a variety of optional activities that teachers provide.
I am very appreciative for the efforts of everyone involved in this initiative. In the face of these challenging times, you are rising to the occasion and modeling the District Vision through self-directed learning. Thank you for your hard work, flexibility, and support.
Please also note that according to the Remote Learning Plan, next Friday, April 24, is also a Self-Directed Learning Day. Additional details about the Geneva CUSD 304 Remote Learning Plan can be found on our FAQs page at this link
Thank you again for your continued patience and grace as we work hard to support one another during this time!
Dr. Kent Mutchler
Superintendent of Schools
