Superintendent of Schools
margin-left:0in;line-height:150%'>Today is our last day for families to select the Back Together 304 learning plan for your K-12 student. I would like to thank the Geneva 304 school community for your input, feedback, and patience as we have tried to build a flexible and adaptable plan that is aligned to guidance from state regulatory agencies.

While many details still need to be decided, we have a dedicated staff of professionals who care deeply about providing quality education opportunities for students while prioritizing the health and safety of our school community. As I shared when we released our initial plan, our plans will evolve and will change over time based on feedback we receive and guidance that is set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education, Illinois Department of Public Health, and the Kane County Health Department.?

I would also like to thank the parents and guardians who have already made their selections in Home Access Center, and to encourage those remaining to follow the instructions provided below. The deadline to choose your student’s learning selection that works best for your family is 11:59 p.m. today. Please remember that students whose families do not complete this process by the deadline will be placed in the In-Person Learning setting. This is necessary so that we can facilitate staffing and other planning.

How to Select Your Child's Learning Option (Complete this process for each student in grades K-12)

1. Log onto Home Access Center (HAC) by visiting:
2. From the Registration page, choose "Update Registration"
3. To start, click "*** Click here for Data Verification ***"
4. Review your child's general information and click "Next Section >>>"
5. A section will appear with two key considerations regarding the start of the 2020-21 school year that must be completed:

  • Select which learning setting you want your child to experience: In-Person Learning or Online-Only Learning.
  • Is District Transportation required? (Applies to In-Person Learning students).

6. After making your selections, click "Save Section" and then "Next Section >>>"
7. Review the information you provided.  If all looks accurate, check the "I Agree" box and then click "Submit" to complete the process.

After completing these steps, you will receive an automatic email confirming receipt of your submission. You also will receive a second email, at a later date, once the District has recorded your response.
Need Help?
Please contact Home Access Center support via email at [email protected] or by phone at 630-463-3097.

In addition to the District communications that have been shared with families, I would like to thank our building principals and their teams, who are working hard to communicate with their families additional details. If you have additional questions, please visit the Back Together 304 webpage to review the Back Together 304 Learning Plan for Fall 2020-21. Building principals will continue to communicate additional details with families, and the Frequently Asked Questions page is updated regularly with answers to common questions.

We greatly appreciate your continued patience, grace, flexibility, and support as we work toward a successful start to the upcoming school year.
