A Message from Geneva 304 Superintendent
Message from Superintendent Thumbnail
March 17, 2020
Greetings Geneva 304 community,
We remain grateful for your patience and understanding as this situation evolves. Please know that we are doing our very best to communicate our latest understandings with you and work to keep you informed as we learn more and do our best to adapt to a changing landscape.
Yesterday in Geneva 304 during our Institute Day, our teachers were hard at work developing activities and learning options designed to help our students maintain intellectual and academic engagement while also reinforcing the importance of school and academic content. You and/or your students have likely begun receiving information from their teachers regarding these activities. While at this time the state’s “Act of God” designation for these missed days means that this work is not required for students, we nonetheless want to support and encourage our students to keep exercising their brain muscles. Our teachers will continue to do their best to support their students during this uncertain time, and as we continue to collaborate with our stakeholders we will keep you informed regarding new opportunities for engagement and student learning.
Our tech support team’s main focus at the moment is to address critical concerns. We are working to provide support for additional issues on a prioritized basis. In the meantime, please feel free to review the 1:1 Troubleshooting Guide for common issues/resolutions.
That being said, we ask for your grace and support as our staff, like you, also works to follow the guidelines and recommendations of our health and government officials and care for themselves and their families.
Please continue to reference our page of Frequently Asked Questions regarding these and more topics, which we will continue to update as needed.
Please watch for continued communications from schools and the district.
Dr. Kent Mutchler
Superintendent of Schools
