GHS Spring Art Show Goes Virtual
GHS Spring Art Show Virtual

This semester, four walls will not be needed to exhibit the hard work of GHS art students for others to enjoy. The GHS Spring Art Show Art has been assembled in a virtual format by GHS art teachers. The public is invited to view the art show online at this link.

Typically each semester, GHS art teachers host a show at the high school featuring student work from all of the art classes that GHS offers. They decided not to let a building closure get in the way of that, according to Art Teacher Mrs. Megan Kelly.

“As artists, we make art to share with people and to create discussion and communication among people,” Kelly said. “This year since we are not in the building and are working remotely, we felt it was important to still give our students an opportunity to share their artwork with the community!”

The slide show begins with words of encouragement for students from art teachers Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Danica Fahmy, and Mr. Al Ochsner.

“They have all worked so hard this semester and have created some really phenomenal work, and we are all so proud to show it off,” Kelly added.
