Geneva High School Student Receives Three Honors for Writing in Humor Category

Scholastic LogoCongratulations to Geneva High School student Laura McDonald, who entered the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition this year in the writing category (humor).  She won a Gold Key for her entire portfolio and an individual piece, "Nature," a Silver Key for an individual piece, "We are the Future," and an honorable mention for an individual piece, "Holistically Speaking."

All works receiving Gold Keys will move on to national judging in New York City, and will be considered for national honors: Gold and Silver Medals and Special Achievement Awards. These results will be announced in mid-March.
