Attention students: Mr. Bleau sent you an email yesterday regarding Fridays.  This Friday all students will be at home and will be required to log into a live TEAMS meeting following the half day schedule.  Please read email to make sure you understand the expectations.  You will not need to attend study hall unless a teacher specifically asks you to attend study hall and sends you an invitation via email.

Picture retakes are on Wednesday/Thursday during the lunch periods.  If you missed picture day earlier this month, be sure to get your picture taken.  If you ordered pictures and are unhappy with them, just bring your picture package with you on Wednesday/Thursday and give it to the photographer so that you can have a new picture taken. 

 

Last week’s Library Wheel of Fortune puzzle winners are Katelyn Wray, Isabelle Hauth and Marissa DeYoung, and teachers Mrs. Tomczak, and Mrs. Asencio.  Congratulations!  Be sure to stop by library to pick up your prize.

 

Viking Gamer Club has its next meeting on Wednesday October 28th / Thursday October 29th.  Please make sure that you have your Club T-Shirt Order forms filled out and and turned into Mr. Rhea or the Office.  

 

Leo’s Club is meeting after school on Wednesday/ Thursday in Ms. Beyers room 223 from 3:30 – 4:25.

 

Art Club is meeting today after school, so you should either plan to take the activity bus home or make sure you have arranged for a ride.

 

The GMS Science Club is having its first meeting this Thursday from 4 – 4:45pm and it’s going to be VIRTUAL! Be sure to join Mr. Duber online for the first topic....Fluorescence and Phosphorescence! Look for the announcement in the GMSS Students team and use the JOIN CODE to get there.

7th and 8th graders, please remember to recycle used/broken pens, pencils and markers in the bins located in your team center.  6th graders, GMSS recycles all these items so that they do not end up in a landfill or the oceans.  Please look for the bins in your team center and drop all used or broken pens, pencils, and markers in there instead of the garbage.  Such an easy way to help the Earth.

Social Studies Club is having its first virtual adventure today after school from 4 – 5pm!  Look for the meeting link on Microsoft Teams.  All are welcome!  

 Join us in the library for the last of our TeenTober celebration during your lunch today.  We’ve got Spooktacular games and prizes planned.  Email Mrs. Fedor today to sign up.

 

Red Ribbon Week continues with week 2!  Coming up next?  “A” Wednesday is Jersey Day, so be sure to represent your favorite team!  “B”: Thursday is Jersey Day, so be sure to represent your favorite team!  

 

Don’t forget the annual food drive to help the less fortunate in our community is still going on.  For every 5 items you bring in, you’ll be entered into a raffle to win something awesome! Some things that are desperately needed at the shelter are oatmeal, paper towels, shampoo, dish soap, cereal, spaghetti sauce, bar soap and toothpaste.
