It was a weekend to celebrate for the Geneva South Cross-Country Team as the team fired of a lot of personal bests. The Varsity Girls led things off in terrific fashion.  Despite the grueling hills, Mira Meyers, Gretchen Drexler, and Elena Mamminga all posted impressive top 25 finishes.  For the JV squad Natalija Gaikis ran a terrific time, earning her a medal and a top 15 finish.  Emma Jordahl and Mia Pettruci both led the troops and posted great races in the JV race, too.  In the open race, Brooke Lyles ran awesome and was the top finisher for the Vikings with Isabella Kisch close behind.  The girls packed it up and competed with personal bests in all three races.  The boys kept the momentum going in the varsity race as Andrew Lee, Brady Jordan, and Griffin Poterek all posted top 15 medals and helped lead the boys to a podium third place finish.  In the JV race, Jackson Fuhrman and Gaspar Estrada-Bravo led the Vikings, both placing in the top 20.  Then in the open race, Mack Biesk led the troops with Hudson Van Kleeck, Nathan Walkington and Matthew Bultmann packing it up right behind.  The boys team placed third overall in all three races (special shout out to North who was behind South in all three races).
