Leo’s Club is collecting clean, old blankets and towels for the local animal shelters! Due to the ongoing pandemic, shelters have more cats and dogs and not enough supplies. By donating blankets/towels, you can help prevent the animals sleeping on cold pavement. Donations can be dropped off in the designated boxes located near the office and library. If you have any questions, you can contact Ms. Beyer.

7th and 8th grade Jivin Geneva will be this Friday, January 28th after school until 5:00pm. Come hang out with your friends, play some dodgeball, or even compete in a team trivia contest for prizes! Everyone must have a ride by 5:00pm or take the activity bus home!

There were a couple fire trucks that needed to report to Aurora Jefferson last night because Geneva south was on fire.  Gianna Sala led the charge with her aggressive play while Talia Reynolds and Alyssa Flotte were both awesome down low and knocked down some big buckets.  The girls won big to go to 2-0 on the season.

The 7th grade girls B basketball team took on North at home last night with confidence. The Vikings had a strong passing game on offense against North's zone and some sweet steals on D. Bailey Dumas was relentless with shots, putting up 10 points, while Gianna Oxler worked the ball in the post getting some awesome looks and rebounds. In the final moment South's defense couldn't come up with a steal and lost by 1. It was a great team effort all around.

The 8th grade A team took the party bus to Jefferson last night and danced their way to a victory.
