Fall Return Update from Geneva 304
Fall Return Update Image
Aug. 6, 2021

As the school year nears, we are excitedly preparing to welcome students and staff back to our buildings for full in-person learning, believing that together we can adapt to changes the year may bring.

One of those such changes is the mask mandate announced by Gov. Pritzker this week, which requires all students, teachers, and staff to wear a mask indoors at PreK-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status.

We remain focused on the health and safety of our school community and following the latest public health guidance. Effective immediately, it is required that masks be worn indoors by all individuals in Geneva 304 buildings, regardless of vaccination status. While participating in outdoor activities, masks are not required.

This Monday, Aug. 9, the Board of Education will discuss the administration’s recommended 2021-22 School Year Plan. Please expect additional information regarding this meeting in “On the Table” via 304Connects later today.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school and maximizing in-person learning for all students.
