National School Bus Safety Week Poster 2021
Oct. 18, 2021

Geneva CUSD 304 is observing National School Bus Safety Week during Oct. 18-22, a public education program designed to promote school bus safety.

More than 4,000 children ride Geneva 304 buses every day in a typical school year, and the week serves as a reminder for the community to keep school bus safety in the forefront.

“National School Bus Safety Week helps to bring awareness to daily practices that our community is encouraged to keep in mind year-round, not just during that week,” said Geneva 304 Transportation Director Mary Dunmead. “Geneva 304 would like to thank our bus drivers, our bus monitors, and our community members for their continuous efforts to keep our students safe.”

Safety tips for families from the National Association for Pupil Transportation are available at this link.

This year’s theme is "Be Safe – Know the Danger Zone." The theme is typically derived from the Poster Contest the year before. A link to the winning poster can be found at this link.
