Sodexo Invites Geneva 304 Students in Grades 1-5 to Enter Recipes in Culinary Competition

Sodexo is hosting its 2nd annual Future Chefs Competition and accepting entries from students in grades 1-5. The theme for this year is Favorite School Lunch Meals — Reimagined. This includes lunches that students eat at school — either homemade or made in the cafeteria.

Judging will be based on the following criteria:
  • Originality
  • Kid-Friendly
  • Ease of Preparation
  • Healthy Attributes
  • Plate Presentation
  • Taste
  • Student Chef Presentation to Judges
HOW IT WORKS:
  1. Please help your child complete and submit the online Recipe Card no later than 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2020.
  2. A distinguished panel of administrators will evaluate recipe submissions and narrow the number of finalists down to 2 students per Geneva 304 elementary school.
  3. Those finalists will be notified via email and/or phone by Tuesday, March 3, and formally invited to a Culinary Competition “Cook-Off” at Geneva High School at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 14.
  4. All finalists will receive a framed plaque and apron at the competition.
